Don't know for sure, but I say yes. Best bet, grab a phone book, look up your nearest Ebgames, Gamestop, other store that buys systems and give them a call and ask.

They won't take it unless it has the power cord because they have to plug it in to see if it works. Why would someone want to buy a PS2 without the power cord and have to go buy one when they can buy one with everything and go home and play it right then?

They will not take in a system without a power cord. You can trade it in, however, they will make you purchase a used power cord from the shelve and deduct it from the trade in value.

Ya you could. i would sujest ebgames. They are the best but bring the power cord just in case. You have to have it for handhelds (ds, ds lite, psp etc.). I brought one in without one & i had to go all the way home again argh it drove me crazy. So i hope this helps.

Yes you can trade it in, but you will get docked money for not having it. You probably wont get that much for it anyway, what with the slimmer version out now. Just take it to your local gamestore and ask them to check how much you would get for it. They'll be happy to help you out.

You can probably trade it, but you won't get as much as you would with all the parts. What you'll get depends on the store.
