Book - A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving as this was the first book I ever cried reading so I think I must have an emotional engagement with this.
Piece of music - The Smiths - Very Best Of The Smiths as there are 23 tracks on there and although some people think they are downers, i think they are optimistic, sardonic and nostalgic songs for me.
Personal item - The Rosary beads my mum bought me. I will not be wailing into the skies begging for mercy or survival, but it is nice to have a piece of family with you. I could not look at photos 24/7, I would rather have something tactile.

1) Encyclopedia, for when I get to land. At long last I'll win the pub quiz.
2) Some 1980s New Romantic compilation. Give me more notice and I'll be more specific.
3) My eternity ring which is similar to one owned by Charlotte Bronte. Would bring back memories of a lovely holiday.

I don't think a lot of people understood the question. These are the 3 things I would take.
1. Book--------------my Bible
2. Music-------------guitar
3. Personal item---my knife
You said piece of music and a player so I counted the guitar.

3. Personal item.....my Swiss Army knife.
The book would occupy me for all of a few hours. The piece of music is nice but isn't going to gut a fish.
I'm assuming you expected us to chose from your list of three.
Otherwise, if I get to pick MY three:
1. An inflatable raft
2. Fully stocked survival kit
3. Sat phone

Hey engineer didn't know I was a book.LOL You didn't follow the rules.
1.book- don't read much except magazines so none
2. piece of music- couldn't choose just one but don't need music anyway he has a guitar
3. my personal item is a person... engineer
so I guess my answer is I would only take one thing with me my bf . who cares about one piece of music that would get boring too fast and a book don't read them anyway.

Hmmm… properly i anticipate that food and water isn't a difficulty and really available in this island.. So I’d ought to assert: -Knife- to diminish issues, gut fish and for a very last selection if I cant take it anymore and that i opt to end it -Lighter- properly for obtrusive causes, lighting fixtures a hearth -A e book... inspite of the undeniable fact that i'd finally end that, so ... a lady i appreciate ! ;) For obtrusive causes! Chips ahoy!
