I hated rap untill i found this little group of real musicians rapping. They actually play there instruments Tell me if you like them or not

I think that it is a very valid genre of music, and like all things that become popular the records companies distill it and squeeze all the art out of it and make it all about profit. The music you hear on the radio for the most part of any genre has been stripped of any art and is simply a product. There is very good rap out there, that has nothing to do with killing folks or disrespecting women. I don't really mind anti-establishment themes. Jurassic 5 is very good, so are the Roots, and Blackolucious. Good music is out there in every genre you just need to look past the main stream filler noise to get to it.

Rap is just another genre.I think it's super myself because it's a style that I don't normally perform as
a musician.

My suggestion if you want to hear the real deal;

Get Kool Keith.He is the undisputed master.

The smartest, freshest dopest ryhmes out there.

rap is gay even if they play the triangle. They don't write their own songs and their music has no meaning or target. You want real music listen to metal or trance

It's more the lack of regard for the establishment or police for me. All they seem to talk about is killing people, hoes, and cars.
