The only way to know for sure that you know it is to take action and measure the results. For instance I can know that I can run faster than you, but unless I am using my judgement of past perfomance of both you and me then I am only stating my confidence and not fact. Once we race and I kick your axx, then I KNOW. By the way I already know I can beat you.
On the other hand if you are really seeking wisdom think on this:
A lot of our problems in life are caused by pride. Pride often dictates that we convince ourselves we know everything. Then of course we trip ourselves up because we weren't as smart and self sufficient as we thought we were. A wise man once told me:
"When you know you don't know, then you know."
I really love that, because then it follows If you think you do know then you don't. I have found that truth in my life MANY times. I have made peace with not knowing because then I know that I really know.

Plenty of people think they know something but what they think they know is based on no trutch and only speculation. You know you know something if you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt what it is you want to prove true.

If you know something, you feel it, you visualize it, you do see it different way right front of you. It hunts you until you realize and accept it.
