How many of you, truthfully, have broken the law and gotten bootlegs of movies? I've watched some, never owned any. I guess that still makes me a criminal, right?

I watch at least 4 bootleg movies on DVD a month for the past few years. My friend buys them for like 5 bucks each. My philosophy is you are only a criminal if you are the one producing them, or distributing them.

Never have. All of the DVDs I have purchased were bought fairly by respected retailers. Bootlegging is not a real problem where I live

Most of the dvd's i watch are bootleg. Why pay $25 when you can pay $5 for a movie that might not even be good.

I"ve bought about 3 off of ebay, and they didn't say it was a bootleg. 1 of them didn't work at all, and one skips. The other is fine. I wouldn't trust the quality.

I've gotten a couple without realizing that they were bootlegs. I've since learned that if they have a purple back then they are burns.
