Hey it is my son's favorite TV show, So I'm stuck watching it at least an hour a day.

He is a genius. One who loves to act foolish and draw others in, just to see their reactions and how they falter in the presence of idiots. The type of person who likes to amuse himself by making people think that he's a complete moron. Well, the joke's on all of you, he's a genius!

SpongeBob Squarepants is a very funny series. In an interview, the creator stated that he wanted to go for "the dumb look" because it attracted more people and made people laugh. I myself believe Patrick is smart in a few things, but everything else is over his head. I also think SpongBob is either a homosexual or on some sort of drug...
Well, that's just my opinion. ^_^

I think Patrick could be either way. However from what I see Patrick is not the brightest starfish in the ocean for sure but then again Spongebob doesn't soak up too much in life either. Both are a little strange but they do entertain the kids.

As a parent I am forced to watch it as well but I like Spongebob. Anyways to answer the question Patrick every once in awhile pulls the smarts out of his tiny brain but it is rare.

Yep, Patrick's really smart, he just like SpongeBob's company, so he plays dumb.
I also think that Patrick sounds uncannily like Dobber from "Coach"...hmm...

Oh, me too! My kids love this show. Did you know that "Patrick" is the guy from "Coach", Bill Fagerbakke? I can just picture him being Patrick!
