Do you give any of your money away to good causes or do you just spend it? If you just spend it, I can understand why people call you that.

Well there is some truth to the fact that money changes people, whether you have it or not. if you don't have much, then you want what rich people have, if you already have money, then there's a strong possibilty you don't know how grateful you should be. i can't say i've been in your shoes 100%, but i have had my rich moments, and i have had my poor moments, a few more poor than rich (ie. my phone got shut off and had collectors calling me because i couldn't pay my bills, even while working 2 jobs) and on the other side, i have no debt, due to my wonderful parents who have paid for college, and books, and who gifted their '97 Ford Taurus to me (as long as i paid for insurance)
but to get back to your classmates looking at you as some rich snob....well yeah they're jealous!! but on the other hand you shouldn't flaunt it, or brag, or make a big deal that your missing your hair and nail appt cuz your driver forgot to pick you up from school!!
just try to picture yourself as another classmate who might have to walk home from school everyday, who has to share a room with brothers and sisters, who has to do their own laundry, and is out of shape because their only excercise is the walking they do, too and from school.
i know this is long, but in short, just try to see the other perspective, and hopefully you can be the better person.
ps. thank your parents/grandparents/relatives for all the awesome things they've provided for you!!

You raise an interesting question. Who are you?- The person you were brought up to be (wealthy, educated, in with the "in" crowd), or the person you THINK you are that you'd like to be...? I know this is going to sound alittle odd, but what's wrong, exactly, with being a snob??? No matter WHAT or WHO you are- people are going to pass judgements on you that are wrong & hurtfull. You're never going to get the approval of Everyone under ANY circumstances...- So why not just enjoy the lucky star that you were born under- & let the rest go? ... Now if you really ARE unhappy with the way others percieve you- then you're going to have to find some way to tone your wealth & privledge down; wear less expensive clothes, hang out at more ordinary establishments- show the world you're alittle more like THEM- than just the, "rich girl in the big house in the cul-de-sac." It's up to YOU how you want to be percieved.

Just be nice and kind to everyone and the word will spread that your a good gal. I have a very good friend that has way to much money. People think she's a snob until they get to know her. She is the so good to other people you can't help, but like her. Just be yourself, however make sure yourself doesn't put off the air of a snob. After all, we are all created equal - take your money and things away and you are still the same person. (or should be) Good luck

Don't give up your life to impress others. High school is hard even if you don't have money. That is just an excuse for most people to feel better about their lives. Be a good person and focus on who you are because money or not who you are is the only thing that lasts and the only thing that will bring you true happiness. Wait until schools over you will see how drasticly different the world really is.

You won't stay rich with that attitude. Name calling will never stop.
If you don't consider yourself normal, then start acting how a normal person would so you can then consider yourself normal. Talk to people who don't have as much money. Make a crass comment every once in a while. Stop worrying what others think, you are in the best position to do so.

If you have lots of friends, people obviously don't think you're a snob for long. If you have all that you say you do, then you most likely live in an area where that type of lifestyle is the norm. If people don't like you, then why do you want to be their friend anyway?

You cant stop people from thinking what they want about you. All you can do is be yourself and not give a damn what others think about you. If you arent showing that you are a snob then these people are most likely hating because of your financial status. They do say its lonely at the top! I wish you well and good luck.

You ARE bragging, because YOU don't pay for the house, maids, butlers, trainer, etc.--your parents do. What you need to do is EARN things in your own right. Then people will give you the respect you desire.
