How does enchant mean love?

Like in spanish encanta means i love it...and encanta means enchanted so ow does that relate........

Love is mystical, magical, and 'enchanting'. People thought you could cast a spell of love on ppl. Remember the song? "I cast a spell on you -- and you are MINE!"
