Saw them live at Ozzfest this year. They were good.

I think that they are pretty excellent. Metal goes through progressions. I don't think that they've invented anything, just sped up the evolution of metal. Sabbath started it, Metallica brought it in a new progression in the 80's, and now System of a Down is helping the evolution.

They made a album called B.Y.O.B and Mezmerize. They were meant to show u how the government was hypnotizing politicians.

Lead singer's voice is like nails on a chalk board to me - and so they are opera-rock - been done before and much better!

hmm....i honestly used to not be able to stand them....but my fiance listens to them religiously and they've kind of grown on me...there are still some songs that i just absolutely hate though!!!
