Being able to talk to people around the world, share photos, drugs, parties, fame,Tom...LOL I don't know really. It depends on the person I guess and what they want to get out of it.

I have a myspace account, but I go on there to talk to my friends. But I see alot of people, who unlike myself, go on there to find girls or because they can get attention with posting pictures of themselves. I think in ways, its kind of like a popularity contest. Alot of the people on myspace are really lame. I only add people I know and that aren't gross or perverted. Sadly, I think myspace is a way for lonely people to connect to other lonely people to make themselves feel special. Not everyone is like that, but the majority is. For me, I like myspace because I can connect with bands I like and people I like and it helps when I am super bored to just send someone a comment to see how they are doing or to blog about my day. I guess people like myspace for all different reasons. I haven't found any other place like it on the internet.

i have the same question....
I'm a teen(not going to mention age because I'm not an idiot) and i don't get it . it's just profiles and some other stuff and you can post pics and talk to people... for me it's a complete waste of time

idk but i wish i did, i dont like myspace and i dont have one so...i have no clue whats so good about it. i have xanga which is totally different from myspace...lol
