I think you should concentrate more on school since its obvious you can't spell. Once you conquer that, then go for tennis!

I played tennis in part because it was relatively easy to make the team (they only cut a handful of players at tryouts) and because it gave me a chance to participate in sports, stay active, get some exercise, develop some self-discipline, get a good tan, have something to do after school, make more friends, and get out of school for tournaments and road trips (yeah!). It also nicely meshed with the annual drama club schedule, as the yearly musical performances wrapped up just before tennis season started up in the spring.
It's not fruity to play high school tennis and I doubt that anyone will ever give you grief over it - especially the ladies, who will like your tan and your lean, toned body. If you enjoy tennis, give the team a shot - you'll probably regret it if you don't. If anything, you're more likely gonna be called fruity for wanting to be an actor - but if you like it, do it! Don't be so concerned about what others say.

TENNIS IS NOT FRUITY. There are some amazing male tennis players out there that people are in love. But don't think that just because you play tennis your going to get a girlfriend. You should definitely go for it if you like the sport. Good Luck.

look at some of the tennis stars of the past and see
if you think they were fruity. go for it. tennis is one of
those 'games' you can continue to play. you will only
need to find one other person and you can have a good
physical workout and enjoyment at the same time. no
getting a team together and no being too old at any age.
you are right about the fact that less competition gives
you a greater chance of being a star. keep working
toward your goals, stay open to new ideas as you go
along, and if one of your goals doesn't happen right away
just concentrate on something else for a while. all good
things come to those who wait. good luck.

have you ever seen Roger Federer he is probably the most manly man out there so is Nadal and Roddick...I've been playing tennis for 6 years and started when i was about 14...not to mention throughout highschool i had more girlfriends than any of the guys who i hung out with (a football player and two baseball players were my closest friends) so what sport you play has nothing to do with how you do with the ladies..its your personality...additionally Tennis is a great sport to play throughout your lifetime and provides great exercise not that you should be concerned about that now!

The good news is if the girls are that crazy for you, the guys will be too! You'll just have to wait a couple of years. The chances are slim of meeting someone your own age right now. The thing that sucks about coming out when you're so young is that most other people wait until they're at least in college, so you're in the minority (even among gay people). The most that you could can do is try to meet other guys your age online (but in a platonic of course). Just enjoy your friends and look forward to when you're older.

Other people may think it is a fruity sport until one day you are making millions from tennis and they are stuck in dead end jobs

Very well worded question. Good luck with the team, Good luck not getting raped by the other 300 boys trying out. I hope you have a happy ending with your girl friend this year. Topher is from Darian Connecticut so if you make about AROD money you could have your parents buy a house their and throw in a few lessons.
