Nicest thing somebody ever did for me was the buy me my coffee cause I let them in front of me at the drive though.
I had no idea, and it really made my day!

I've done a lot of selfless acts of kindness in my life. One thing I always do when I'm at a rock concert, say Ozzfest or something life that, is when I decide to leave early (and I have on many occasions) I will find the most gothed out twelve year olds who have crappy lawn admission and let them have my seats (usually in the first 20 rows) for the rest of the show if the closing band isn't something I like as much (Marilyn Manson, that type). I'm older and can afford better seats, but I know how how much those kids appreciate it.
One time, I had four seats to a Staind concert, but my husband and another person going with us were terribly sick with a winter flu, so we found some teenagers just hanging out in the neighborhood and not only gave them the tickets for free ($300 value there!), also drove them to the concert on our way home.
I know it's not charity work, it doesn't compare to donating a kidney, but it's just something that I learned from childhood: how to share.

I was in an airport waiting for my flight. Heavy fog had rolled in
and all flights were cancelled. A mother with one young child was having a bad time of it. She was very frustrated and her child wasn't helping matters. She was desperately trying to find enough people to charter a bus to continue her trip. Person after person were turning her down. As she approached me with her squalling child I suggested that we share a room for the night
and deal with everything else in the morning. The airline was popping for the rooms. She at first refused and then told me I wouldn't want to stay with her and her child. I saw the tears of frustration in her eyes and assured her that everything would be okay. She finally agreed and we roomed together. I think she was grateful that she had someone to help her for awhile.
In the morning we went our separate ways. I like to think I might have saved that child that night. I wasn't expecting anything in return.

I've done a lot of nice things for people but I'd prefer to keep them to myself. I prefer to make them selfless acts and if I tell you then I will get 2 points for it, therefore no longer making them selfless acts.

Bent down and held a homeless Vietnam Vet while he wept.
He was in a wheelchair.I did slip him a couple bucks,as I hope
