I've used all sorts of chemicals to get rid of pimples but they didn't work so well. I was recommended to buy a bottle of Garnier Pure cleansing gel and moisterizer. It slowly got rid of the pimples. I was told that you may have a major breakout for the first 2 weeks of using a cleansing gel and moisterizer because it "detoxifies" your skin and then the skin should clear up. I had minor pimples but the deep cysts (painful and scar producing pimples) never developed. I'm happy with the it, although I wish it would clear up the pimples faster. You should give it a try for a few months and see if the acne improves.

Aside from getting treatment from your pharmacy - I'll let your pharmacist advise - you can help by eating fruit and avoiding greasy food like chips. Fruit is good for the skin. Cleanse a lot with special soap.
