you may want to try file recovery try going to download.com and type in file recovery and see if u can find a program that will work

Go to Start>search and click Pictures, Music or Videos, and do a search for *.JPG or what ever format the pictures are in. You will come up with a list of all the JPG files on your hard drive. or any other storage device on your computer.

If you are looking for them from within picture editing software, you may be filtering out the file type. Try selecting "All File Types" in the Open dialogue box.

put in the name of a photo, cross fingers and hit search

try saving another picture and see what file it puts it in. This will let you know where to start looking.

if u have windows, click start, search, music pictures videos, click pictures and it will search the whole computer 4 all pictures

If ya got kids.... and dey was playin on your comp and accidentally went into those folders and maybe deleted them permanetly.
