My buddy list is blank now?

I had messenger open, and have a few friends on my buddy list. I also have my own screen name as well. I hit a mouse gesture and all of buddys disappeared, except my screen name stayed.

I still have my "Address Book" with my buddys but my "messenger list" is only my screen name.

How do I get my buddys to show back up??

you hit the lil arrow thing on your messenger list it hid your contacts make sure it facing down by clicking on it and they should show again.
