SEAHAWKS FOR SURE

2006-08-17 09:41:35 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Falcons.... maybe ??? But they'll have to eventually go through either the Cowboys or the Seahawks and of course the Panthers.

And the Patriots aren't going back to the Super Bowl for at least another 7 or 8 years.

No. The competition in the AFC has grown immensely since the Pats dynasty. The have to face teams such as the Colts, who have now proven they can beat New England, and he defending champion Steelers, who have clearly shown their strengths. Even the Dolphins, who are in the same division as the Pats, seem like a threat because of their offseason moves (like adding Culpepper). Their defense is fine, but with the addition of a healthy Culpepper, they could really pose a threat on offense.

As for the Falcons, they still have a long way to go. Their star player, Michael Vick, gets injured a lot; he's recovering from one now. They aren't a passing threat either; Vick is a mobile QB and the Falcons installed the West Coast offense to benefit him. As with New England, Atlanta faces tough competition in the NFC. Within their division, they have to beat out proven teams like Tampa Bay and Carolina, who went to the playoffs last year.

If both teams improve themselves in the future, then maybe we'll see this matchup in later seasons.

I don't think the Patriots will make it this year. Their team isn't what they were when they won the last time. I can see the Seahawks back on the prowl--they certianly have valid reasons for wanting to be there. Problem wtih predictions is that we can all guess who will get there, but until the season plays out, you never know. Take last year for example--I don't remember too many people predicting the Steelers would make it to the Super Bowl--that was supposed to be Indy. So, you never know. We will have to wait and see.

I doubt either team will even make the playoffs. Patriots have to compete for a division crown for the first time in like 3 years with Miami. Miami was only one game behind New England last season, and with a solid QB this season...they're set for it...Patriots wont get wild card with teams like Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, and San Diego looking good for it this year. Falcons.....if they finish 3rd in the NFC South I'll be amazed. They improved the defense sure...but Vick at QB...teams are catching on!!!! He's not as effective anymore with teams realizing "Hey, Vick's going to run...go get him"...then his passing skills....hasn't had a 3000 yard season yet....that wont provide enough offense to compliment their still cracked defense. With Tampa and Carolina in that division...Atlanta is nowhere near another division title for at least 2 years...Carolina's players are on contract through 2007...so whatever they do this year....expect it for next year as well..

That's a horrible pick, don't put your money on it.

i don't think falcons will make ot that far. The pats on the other hand has a chance, they find out ways to win if odds are against them.

Except Michael Vick is not a Super Bowl quarterback. That is situation is about to blow up. He may even get benched before the end of the year.

Wow i would love that.

But dolphins will probably beat out the pats in their division. Either way i want atlanta to win the superbowl, doesnt matter who they play.
