When I Am Not
Alot of people always assume that I am gay and I really don't know why that is. I do have alot of female friends but that is about it. I don't where tight clothes, I don't wear bright clothings either, I don't dye my hair, and I don't have piercings in my ear or any other part of my body. When I do talk to people, people say that I sound very articulate and there for I must be gay. People have even begun to tell lies about me and I have even lost a few friends because of it, I have been seriously thinking about committing suicide, or even joining a hate group to get revenge on some of the people who are spreading these lies. I don't think anything is wrong with being gay, but I am not gay. To me everyone is entitled to live the way that they want as long as they dont infringe on the rights of others, and as long as what ever they choose to do does not harm another individual.
Can someone please help me before I do something that I would regret in the future.

this may not seem like a lot of help but i know wat your going through my best friend is a guy and everybody thinks he is gay and he isnt but killing ur self isnt the way 2 go ive tryed it and if it doesnt work than it leaves you battered and broken and its no fun u r just you and i know that this is hard 2 except but just be you and if they dont like you 4 you than those ppl arnt true friends i found that out the hard way . ok? and just be u. ppl say gays that arnt gays r just straight ppl with class remember that.

If you don't think there is anything wrong with being gay then why do you feel so insulted when people assume/call you gay?
Regardless, forget those idiots and keep the company of those friends who know you best. What everyone else says, let it slide. You know who you are and the people who love and care for you the most know who you really are. You don't have to prove anything and don't change for anyone. Suicide isn't the answer. People are so insensitive and their tactless words are not worth giving up your life.

you should really 'think' before you do something you'll regret for the rest of your life, or you hurt the ones that do care if you commit suicide! these are very serious things you're talking about here!!! if you're really having these thoughts then there's nothing wrong with going to get professional help! you need someone to talk to, and work out your anger!!!
kids say and do things when they get a reaction, and we really shouldn't worry about what other people think or say!! just be the person that you are and enjoy your life...as hard as it is, the friends that you say you lost...they were really NOT your friend then!!! you don't have to prove yourself to anyone, and you don't have to please anyone, BUT YOURSELF!!!

drop it....the friends you lost over it werent youre friends to begin with....the reason its happening is through no fault of your own....its all just narrowminded, shallow, jackassess that stereotype people based on what they believe to be true....you are right to think that everyone is entitled to their lifestyle but you are wrong to even think about committing suicide over these stupid people....just rise above and i promise in the end you will come out smelling like roses! :o) good luck to you!

First off who cares wut people think!
You and your friends know your not gay so all else doesnt really matter. I dont think clothes make a diff. people wear funky stuff these days gay or not gay. For people to think that you are gay i think you have to talk feminine or act that way... Dont trip get a hot chik and dont worry bout it!

That wouldn't bother me you sound like a very smart person. I would just say the heck with all ya and move on, cuz remember its not what other people think its what you think and that sll that matters!

They are jealous POS that are trying to destory your life, learn self defense and when it comes to blows crush them. This is the begginnig of a long hate campaign against act fast.

I knew a boy like that when I went to school. It was because he hung out with girls all the time and didn't act like a perv who wanted to get into their pants... so... everyone said he was gay.
