Try eating raw onions or garlic,. I had strep throat before and the doctor put me on medication..but side effects such as upset stomach, dry mouth, and constipation came in.
My friend told me raw onions and garlic has anti-inflammatory effects and kills bacteria.
In desperation, I chopped raw onions and ate it with bread. It tasted awful (my eyes watered and my throat felt a buring sensation....... but it worked!!!)
After 3 days of continuation my symptoms was completely cleared!!!!!! Try it

Unfortunately not all person can resist the burning sensation at first. you can reduce the strong odor by adding a few drops of olive oil to the onions mix.

Hopes this helps

You REALLY should have medicine. The reason they treat it isn't just because of the pain-- strep can travel to your heart and kill you. Seriously.

You need to see a doctor to know if you have strep instead of something else though. Ask them for a generic script. Or better yet, ask them for a sample package. Tell them you really can't afford any medication. My doctor gives me samples whenever I ask--some of the samples are worth 5 dollars a pill. Go to a free clinic and ask.

Absolutely 100% yes!!
However, there are some complications that strep can cause after it goes away, like rheumatic fever, so I would suggest seeing the doc.
BTW, are you sure it is strep and not just a virus?

Untreated strep can result in Rheumatic fever. Go to the doctor.

Just go to the doctor. While you may think it's strep, it could be mono.

Go to the doctor, even a free clinic, and get checked out.

not likely I'm afraid. Try to drink lots of clear liquids and get rest and take tylenol, but it's not likely and it can be dangerous if left unchecked.
don't mess with it - if it gets unbearable to swallow or you feel sick or feverish, get to a clinic.

no, but if you tell the dr you are a cash pay patient they may charge you less and give you some samples.
