She loves to talk about me to them. She always has netive things to say to me and my kids about me.

Because your mom feels old. Suddenly, seeing you with kids takes her back 20 or 30 years to when you were the kid and she was the new mom...and she wants to be the new mom again. It's natural. And kids are 100% dependent on her for life, she has to take care of them hand and foot, and she loves that feeling.....

She is suffering from the empty nest syndrome, but she should not talk bad about you. Why would she talk bad about you, unless you are not doing the right things ?? Sounds like she is treatiing you as one of the kids. Do you act like a kid ? Take your Mom to the side, so the kids can't hear you and ask her why she is doing this ? She should be making your bond more secure with the children instead of trying to weaken it. AND what is this doing to the kids? They Love their Mom and Grandma and should not have to endure this. Talk to your Mom and tell her exactly what you excpect and if she doesn't stop. then leave an alternative. Good Luck !!
