Absolutely not. I have to honestly say most of the top popular girls were the homliest looking ones.......but they had the big mouths, and were outspoken, obnoxious and gregarious. That's what made them popular. Some of the most beautiful were more quiet and mature and conservative. They were the most overlooked.......until the boys became men of course.

When I was in school this was a ridiculous idea. Looking back there were some very beautiful girls that because of what ever were not popular. I think popularity is a sociological illusion that every one buys into.

NO. Beauty can only be defined by the majority. I know a beautiful girl who not only was not popular, but hated by the other girls. Her beauty made her unpopular due to jealousy and the idea that her beauty was somehow wrong. Go figure....

Not necessarily, there are popular girls that are very pretty but there are a lot of unpopular girls that are very pretty but for whatever reason they are not popular. Or maybe they just didn't know how to use makeup or find the right clothing to fit in, but could have very natural beauty.

If her beauty is appealing to the majority, yes. Nonetheless, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

However, in my experience, vulgarity and sexual willingness gains popularity quicker than simply beauty. Most teenage males would be quicker attracted to an "average" looking girl who is "easy" than a gorgeous girl who practices abstinence.

No.

I was looking through my dad's year book and there was this stunningly beautiful woman that took me by awe. I asked my dad if he ever dated her, and his face went squishy, and he said, "Ooo, no, she was a geek (or freak)".
