Rene is a natural philosopher. I wish he would write more he makes you think.
Feynman is also a good read. His 3 volume set is the best there is.

I find any author who proposes multiple theories at a time hard to consider serious.

I can't find anyone with a good word to say for him, but they said that about Darwin to begin with.
