Everybody is saying that it is an easy division. Yes, it is, but that doesn't mean it won't be competitive. All teams have major problems. The Bears don't have a QB that is going to win them important games. I know their defense is good, but its nothing like the Ravens when they won the Super Bowl. If you're going to completely rely on your defense, then it better be amazing.
I don't see the Bears as an amazing defense, I see them as a good, consistent defense.
The Bears should have no problem against the Vikings or Lions. But when I look at the Packers compared to the Bears, I see a great matchup. The Packers have a slight edge over the Bears since they have some sort of offense and a decent defense.
The Packers should take take the division if they stick to the short game rather than Favre airing it out on every play.

Welll...we can all agree that the Lions wont do it...and the Vikings without Moss was bad enough, but now they're without Culpepper too. I don't care what Brad Johnson did...Culpepper was a very good QB...and now they're without a good offense. They got embarrassed on defense several times last year too...including a 200 yard performace from Steve Smith against them. The Packers are a coin flip on 10-6 or 6-10...the schedule is....pretty damn easy...it's a question of the O-Line holding up to protect Favre better than in the preseason against the Chargers. Bears have a solid defense...but let me see the consistency of the offense...we saw one game against Carolina...but it certainly wasn't enough...then recently in the preseason game....the 49ers did a decent job of stopping them...and just the fact that the 49ers BACKUPS can beat the Bears that bad tells me that the Bears aren't very deep...Inuries can kill them this year if they keep that up...but they seem pretty solid injury-wise and should probably take the division again...but they still have hell to go through in the playoffs with the sketchy offense.

Without a doubt. The bears have a great defense and an improving offense. If Rex Grossman can't stay healthy again this year there is a great backup quarter back. The Bears are awsome.
GO BEARS!!!!

It'll either be Chicago or Detroit.
Vikes will fall apart. Packers need to start rebuilding. Detroit is still an enigma that could be very good or not. Chicago will have a good D but the QB situation isn't so hot.

Yes. With a healthy Rex Grossman, they could improve their passing part of the offense. If Thomas Jones stays healthy, then their running game will prosper. Their defense is set. They also lack competition in their league; Minnesota, Green Bay, and Detroit pose no threat to them because no part of their game is as good or better than Chicago's.

pretend: they are getting old on protection and their offense blows. it really is coming from a die not user-friendly Bears fan btw, i'm only reasonable. i might want to be very shocked if eco-friendly Bay would not take administration of the branch with their youthful and more beneficial effectual crew that genuinely has some offensive guns. each and every of the Bears have is part of craftsmanship.

Yes, but it will be closer this year.
Lets break it down. The Bears defense will probably still be dominating and our offense will be better. I think we have a real shot at the Super Bowl.
