These medical companies appear to be paying "amazing" amounts of money but I dont think you can put a price on your life;. As a few other people have pointed out there were those two men that reacted very badly to some trials earlier this year. One was dubbed "The Elephant Man" due to the fact that his head swelled so badly. Now one of them has been told he is also at greater risk of developing cancer.
They pay you a few grand because you have to sign a contract that states that in the event of something like this happening you cant claim compensation because you have been paid and agreed to go ahead with these trials.
Also, my faltmate did a couple and you ahve to stay in a clinic for a couple of weeks sometimes and its really boring...!

Well considering that the volunteers that did the TGN1412 Parexel trial now have lymphatic cancer for the princely sum of around £2000, yes why wouldnt you do it. Money for old rope!

My son has been on a few of these, at the same hospital in Harrow that had all the problems earlier this year. He could have easily been on that same trial. Yes, it is "easy money" but I would not be happy for him to do any more of them.

Tell that to these guys recently where the trial went wrong. No amount of money is worth that

Yes! but easy come easy go.Do you really want to put your health at risk. Money cannot buy good health, it is a gift and it's wrong to put that gift in danger. There are lots of people out there that would give anything for good health.

Volunteering to be a lab rat is not always smart. I have long lasting side effects that were not known at the time I volunteered.

I have but decided against it as I don't fancy being a guinea pig - also, you don't know what harm the products can do!
