Is a 111 IQ score good for a 22 year old with a GED and only 12 credits of college? Where the test was taken, it said if someone has that score he/she is a "visual mathmetician" and that they are well above average. Any help would be appreciated.

An IQ of 111 puts you above 60% of the population. The average of people graduating from high school is something like 105 and for college grads is around 115.
The IQ should not change as you go from adolescence to adulthood and middle age.

100 is the average human iq score
a score of 150 would mean you're a genius
so just think about where 111 is on that scale, and decide for yourself whether it's a good iq score
personally i think it's pretty good since it means you are above average =)

111 is above average. It has nothing to do with achievement, as with GED or college credits. Some with above average IQ's do poorly in college. Others with average IQ become fine scholars, they work extra hard.

Did you take it over the Internet or did you actually GET it taken some place? The Internet tests are a pathetic excuse for a result.
Usually IQ tests that are accurate don't tell you that you are a "visual mathematician".
Which IQ test did you take? Where? When?
Don't worry about it, really. Unless you're planning on putting your IQ on your resume, don't freak out about it.

100 is the average IQ.
Anything under 80 is mentally retarded.
The average college student has a 120 IQ.
There are a ton of other variables that can give success in life-- don't get hung up on an IQ number.

THAT IS GOOD. MEANS YOUR NOT DUMB! I RECENTLY TOOK THE TEST AND I WAS AT 120 AND MY HUSBAND WAS AT 117 SO THIS IS ACCURATE AND...NO STOP THINKING LESS OF YOURSELF JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A GED AND ONLY 12 CREDITS.
