Its only the beginning of the "game" and Israel only used 5 % of its team. Hezbollah's claims are a little premature. It would be like a pee wee football team claiming victory against the '85 Bears with only one wide receiver on the field after the kickoff. The pee wee team wins the toss and then hides behind the referee and their little sisters when the wide receiver tries to tackle them. When the wide receiver actually tackles them, they cry to all the spectators that their little sister got hurt. The league's commissioner blames the wide receiver for the little sister being hurt when they should know that the pee wees had no business bringing the little sisters onto the field. The pee wees then beg for the game to end. The pee wees gloat that because they did not lose any yardage they won. They throw a victory celebration complete with fireworks citing the fact that the wide receiver got a scratch in the process of tackling the pee wee. The pee wee's parents, who own a league (the CFL) that cannot compete with the NFL, are jealous of the NFL to the point of absolute rage. They encouraged the pee wees to take on the Bears in the first place, hoping that by humiliating the Bears that their league would become dominant. The parents buy the pee wees their helmets and shoulder pads and some sharpened cleats. Although the Bears did not choose to play in this game, at some point they could be expected to field their team in its entirety and then I'm sure we can all guess what the outcome will be.

No one has won! but the Israeli's were too surprised to find Hezbollah standing and confronting for a long time no one expected that and Israel had all kinds of weapons and Hezbollah didn't have the tanks that Israel had or the help of America so if u look at this way then yes Hebollah came out of this victoriously and i say he won becuase he had the courage to tell the truth and to show thw truth to the world but unfourtunately no one understood that!

This may sound cliche but there is no winners in a war. As the Hezbollah is still alive and kicking I do not see that Israel accomplished anything but death... It is too sad so many civilians and innocent people had to die on both sides of this situation.

Lebanon didn't win.
They beleive that they have staved off the US army for a while, so they call it a victory. Nobody won this thing- either side. Israel just lost moral ground because they killed babies.
We have a name for people who kill innocent people in this world, it is called murderer. I don't see how anyone could celebrate or take a side.

They did win and you can thank your government for that, they just didn't win the war, what they won was something far more valuable than the war, they won a country and now they become an even bigger threat to us all.

But now all fo Lebanon is behind them because a bunch of innocent people just had their houses blown up. Innocent civilians died and now all of the Middle East is as anti-Israel and America as is gets. They had a moral victory and now with all the forces behind them all we have done is piss them off and made them more powerful.

They obviously lost the battle but won the war. Israel should have totally annihillated them - then there would be no question as to who won!
