I try to please my significant other in all ways that are not emotionally or physically hurtful to me.. sometimes people don't know what they ask even if they do love you. Is this new thing going to be harmful or demean you or her in any way? Or are you just afraid to experiment a little? If you eventually decide you can't appease your wife on the basis it is simply too uncomfortable or risky.. at least be a gentlemen and listen to her needs and explain yours. Maybe the two of you can compromise. Don't shut her down as soon as she asks. That will only make her feel belittled.
Since this "new" thing could be anything ranging from sexual issues to health.. trust your own instincts. If it regards your health, get a second opinion but still appreciate your wife's loving offer to help.
