Do you think that Jon Benet Ramsey's parents share some of the guilt for her murder for parading her around like a little miniature woman in those children's beauty pageants?

JonBenet might have been an ice skater rather than a beauty pageant winner. It is a fun activity for a child. Apparently, JonBenet enjoyed it. Would you have wanted to take that away from her. Would you have wanted her to be kept at home so she would be safe? Oh wait, she wasn't safe at home. Well, how would you keep her safe? My idea would be to get rid of the child predators.

A man who molests a child is not looking for a "miniature woman", he is looking for a child. JonBenet was a beautiful child even without the makeup. Even Muslim girls do not wear a burka until they are older than 6 years old. A man who is sexually attracted to a 6-year-old girl has serious psychological problems.

The person who is to blame and who should feel guilty is the person who murdered JonBenet.

Let the murderers, rapists, child molesters and other violent criminals stay in prison.

Let innocent people enjoy life with their family and friends and participate in any activity that is fun.

This is an interesting link. Read about these kids...

I don't know if they share the guilt for her murder but they should share some of the guilt for botching the crime scene and screwing up the forensic evidence. John Ramsey should have left her body where it was and should not have picked her up and put her down on the living room floor. Aside from other stupid things they did prior to calling the police in to investigate! Just because someone (young or old) is beautiful or make up enhanced doesn't give any perv the right to murder them.

I don't believe that the blame should fall on them for the murder of their child. THESE PEOPLE ARE GRIEVING TOO!

I don't believe that parading your children in pageants is a good thing. So for that I fault them.

But predators are everywhere and so many of the children who've fallen prey to them are NOT involved in pageants or anything in the public eye.

My heart goes out to that family. They've had a hard run at life. I know they're wealthy, but the grief they've gone through - makes me very sad.

I would hope they do. I really don't believe at the time they ever thought they were doing anything wrong. Just as any other mother whose child is in the pagent circuit, probably wouldn't think so either. But..in the aftermath of what happened...and the time it has taken for any new information to come forward. You would think any parent would wonder if they contributed at all to the murder.
That being said.....their guilt should run alot deeper than most parents'.....someone let the killer in the house......unless he/she was already there.

As a matter of fact when I was watching her on tv last night I thought the same thing,I believe her mother should have taken more responsibility, she looked like a Las Vegas showgirl the poor little thing..I guess it never crossed the parents mind how she was being perceived buy the freaks out here now.I am feeling a little bad today as I was one of the people that was skeptical about the mothers innocence in the situation, you hear all kinds of things in the media now and talk shows that it was hard not to consider it.

Um...no. I do not equate pageantry with murdering your child. It does suck, and isn't the best for your child's self-image IMO, but it's not murder, and it's ridiculous to even say that. That's like saying a girl who is raped was "asking for it" because she wore a skirt. I think her parents went through enough pain, misery and heartache being accused of murder for ten years to cover any "guilt" you place on them. Plus, Patsy (her mother) died last month of cancer. Yeah, you should feel bad.

No, they don't. I think putting young girls in makeup for pageants is wrong, but doesn't mean they put her at risk.
Sadly, a predator will go after a child no matter how they look.
