I suggest you find a basic typing course and practice their exercises. These exercises are designed to train your finger's muscle memory to do the common transistions between letters and characters.
If you already have a reasonable typing skill, then you should breeze through these.
Practice transcribing a few pages of printed text. I really doesn't matter what.
I saw where someone suggested a chat room. I find that the biggest callenge to my typing skil. That ought to really help.

Practice - start a diary in your word processor and write in it every day. Not short boring sentences either. Really describe your day - it does work.
When I was in school everytime I took my test I would fail it by just a few words. I practiced diligently and on the last day - last chance - I passed with 0 mistakes - my teacher graded my work 3 times because she could not believe that I finally did it. Come to find out it was the clunky machine and not me - but I still did it even on that.
You can do it.

Find a paragraph in a book or magazine and type it over & over again until you get it all correct all of the time. Then type it faster and faster until you have all words typed correctly and increased your speed.
