IT TAKES TWO TO MAKE A BABY!!!! I agree, there's ALOT of dead beats out there and I wish only that they pay out the *** in child support..the more the better.. but then there's the cases where the moms are so spiteful that they use child support as a threat and use their child as leverage or withhold their child as "pay back". here's what I have to say... ROCK ON ALL YOU GREAT, INVOVLED DADS! All you deadbeats- grow the **** up.
All you moms who put your own feelings aside for what's best for the child.. YOU DESERVE FLOWERS AND CHOCOLATE. All you moms who are punishing your children's fathers... You suck.

Oh, and I am with someone who has a child to another woman. And, while it wasn't always this way, even if I don't agree with some of her tactics, she is a fantastic mother and I respect/admire her. She's one of the ones who get chocolate and flowers:-)

I couldn't agree more. I wish the system was set up to better protect the good fathers out there. I'm so tired of seeing ladies use a child as a weapon and child support as a shopping spree. I've seen women dressed in the latest fashions and there kids looking like the old "garbage pail kids" thanks to good ole dad's child support payment. It should be a law that if it's not spent wisely it's put in a trust for the child or maybe some consulars on how to budget and spend the money in the best interest of the child. And don't even get me started on the ladies that trap a man with a pregnacy.

well i am the mother of all sons....so i really do understand what you are saying...and the woman does all she can to make my sons pay...they work all the time and they pay child support and they pay to keep their children with them...and she gets to run around and do what she wants with the money he is paying her...it is not fair for the men in this world, at times...some women are like that but not all....my sons love their children and if the woman was the one that was so hard to live with and would not keep the house clean and be a decent wife....then why should the man have to support her habits...bad habits i should say...not all women out there are good mothers by any means...this is from a mothers point of view and a grandmothers point of view....

There are certainly more deadbeat dads then deadbeat moms.
There are some pretty bad moms out there too.
In any case, it is very easy to make a generalization
about genders, and you are right: It is wrong.
Indeed, dads get such a bad image that there is little
encouragement to be a good dad - and that has the
predicted effect on our children.
To the good fathers ... cheers! Stand up for your children,
and after that, stand up for your rights!

Amen sister, seems all you hear is horror stories of dead beat dads. I've known quit a few dead beat moms also. My ex wouldn't let me stop the support for her "temporay" vacation of 3 years, now what's that telling my son? I really appreciate what you had to say! Thank you baby from the bottom of my heart.

I agree. There's so many times when the mother doesn't even tell the father about the kid, and then suddenly he owes years of child support for a kid he never knew about. Then they take the money and buy themselves clothes or jewelry and the kid gets none of it.

It's the way women have made men out to be. Thats the excuse some women use to make themselves feel better. And yes, some men deserve that label, but that doesn't mean they all do.

There's just something almost heroic about a dad who has full custody!!! My hats are off to them!!!!! I am a married mom and I think if my husband and I split up, we would have a war on our hands of who got our daughter.

i've noticed this even in kid's movies and books, they make the dad to look stupid and the mom to be the smart one. its a conspiracy i guess. my dad was never involved with my life but there are dads that are and they should be the leader in the family and well respected.
