I'm starting high school, any tips? The Do's and Don'ts.

Just chill!!! HAVE FUN BUT NOT TO MUCH. I'm a senior this year and I have had a blast. These past years have gone so fast though. Don't blow off your studies but make friends. Be yourself! Don't worry about being picked on. Most of the older students are really nice. Also depending on the size of your school you may have some classes with the older students. I attend a smaller school and know everybody in the entire high school. Just just relax and have fun.

Keep your head down and don't make waves. The more people notice you the more people will try and get you. Unless you can scare them lol. But other then that high school really is not all that bad. It's fun so go with it. Learn a lot! But also make time for all the parties, that is important. And sports is the best place to meet people cause this will take you out of the school environment. Student council is the second best place to meet people but I find that not much socializing goes on out side of school. And class is the third. This is because not many people are thinking about parities and hanging out, but I do find class is the best place to meet the opposite sex cause it gives you something to talk about. Just be yourself! I think you will be just fine! Just know you can do it. Oh and in your final year don't slack off. I know most people want to but you can't you have to keep going.

Defanetly watch out for uperclassmen guys, all they want is a girl that is easy so be careful. they aren't all like thet but just make sure you pay attantion to how they treat you and what other people say about them. other than that High school is a blast so enjoy it. Im a junior this year and i can't believe how fast it has gone by so make the best of it! you will make some great new friends and make sure that you get involed in a lot of school activities.

I remember being a freshman. It wasnt bad. Everyone says it is. I never got picked on but a lot of other people do. Just if you have any questions about where a class is ask either a teacher or someone who looks nice. cuase if you ask a senior they might be directing you to the swimming pool on the roof. if you know what i mean haha. if you dont then i mean they will be directing you to the swimming pool when your school doesnt even have. one people do that in my school and we dont have one=]
Just enjoy high School there is soo much freedom im sure you will like it=]

O.K I'll be in 10Th grade this year !!!!!yay!! LOL
anyways.........
Dont's : Don't be mean, shy and don't do nasty things.
Do's : Always study and do ur H/W. Try to find a group of friends u'll be comfortable with. Try to have ALOT of friends. Join a club and play sports.
ALWAYS look good and take care of urself. Have self confidence.
Never talk behind people's back because trust me they'll find out. Don't start any humors or anything.

Don't try to be something you're not, or you'll get jumped. Don't talk $hit about anyone, (or at least to anyone they know) or you'll get jumped. Do good in school, but don't stress out too much, do your best. Don't do drugs. Be nice to teachers and do your work, if they see you're a good student, if you ever make a mistake in the future, they'll cut you some slack. Be yourself and don't try to hard to fit in with the so called in crowd. Join sports and clubs to meet new people. good luck

Do not try to act like your all that, dont try and mess with all the boys (people will think your a slut), dont be fake, smile at people (some people judge you instantly and might think your mean or rude), make sure you choose good friends, never get a bad rep (hard to get rid of). Have funn! And dont let anyone tell you what to do. Never listen to anyone. You have a mind of you own. Dont worry about what others think of you! Be yourself. =]

you have to be confident!! that is the key! dont be a scared little freshman hiding in the corner! they will sniff you out! if you are confident, you will become friends with a lot of different people. also...don't get sucked into one of those awful "clicks"! in 10 years..which is about where i am today, you will look back and say "all those popular kids were really such dorks!! No wonder why I didn't fit in with their "crowd"" HAHAHAHA...You'll be ok!!
oh yeah...don't EVER cry!! and...don't EVER sleep around! thats just nasty!

Dont talk about other people not even to your new friends.
During class talk alot. You will meet alot of different people if you do.
Dont sit way in the back of the class room.Go in the middle.
Just be nice and you will have at least one friend at the end of the day.
