I'm worried that this yellowish snot like mucus (i know, it's gross) discharge is a bad thing. Even though im not in pain, nor am i sexually active, but i seem to be getting this discharge more frequently. And it also has a weird smell, like metal.

It may be a bacterial infection or a yeast infection. You don't have to be sexually active to get either of them. Go see your doc, or get an over the counter yeast med at least five days in length. If it doesn't go away, it's probably bacterial, will need prescrip. meds. Good Luck!!

Sounds like a bacterial infection. Make an appt with your gyno. You can get infections from not cleaning yourself well enough after a bowel movement. The bacteria travels from the anus to the vagina and finds a perfect home. Could also be a yeast infection. Go see your gyno...soon. Tell them exactly what you ahve been expiriencing and they will kno wwhat to do. Good luck!

It's called a yeast infection. Those develop over anything. Something you ate or wearing a wet bikini bottom for too long. Buy a cream in the drug store to help it go away. I don';t know what's the mane for it, but if you read the label it'll say it's to treat yest infections.
