I've been in that same position when I was a kid and it isn't an easy thing. What you have to realize is that this is really something between your parents and has nothing to do with you. The best thing you can do is to let your parents know you love them no matter what they end up doing. Just because they divorce doesn't make you any less of a family.

Let them sepearate, they may need to even though it sucks. If they really want to be together they may get back together after spending some time apart. Otherwise they are just doing what they need to, to make them happy. If your mom is unwilling then it will only make things harder and drag it out longer for them to try to work things out now.

My parents seperated last year, it isn't that bad.

You endure and let them make their own decisions. Never take sides and be willing to listen to both of them if you have the emotional constitution to do so. Never repeat what the other has said to either of them. That causes a lot more problems than it solves. All you can do is be yourself and live your life the best you can and let them make their own decisions on their lives.

it may be better to just accept the separation. Staying together for the kids just tends to make things harder and it will have a effect on you, believe me, I know. you know they love you and your brother and they always will, and that's what really matters.
