I know I am gonna hear about this one from the people defending the terrorists and slamming republicans, but just take a second and imagine if treehuggers and pacifistst were responsible for defending us from people who don't care if they live or die, just so some of us die with them? Just a hint, I don't believe hugging a terrorist or blaming our government will deter them!

FDR was a liberal, he seemed to do pretty good in WWII. JFK, also a libreral, what was that Cuban missile thing?
First off the myth that Democrats are weak on defense is just a myth. If a liberal was in power as President we would be far better off. Perhaps we would actually be looking for Bin Laden, or maybe we would have even cought him. As it stands now, we have disbanded the task force of Special Forces that was on his trail. Secondly we would have a stronger economy, Bush has mismanaged us fiscaly and our economy is in bad shape.
Just goes to show you how you'll believe rhetoric without looking into reality. If you honestly think that any of you so called points are valid, I feel very sorry for you, and everybody you have any contact with.

We would be following international law and not trying to subvert the Muslim countries of the Middle East, so there would be less anti-US terrorism, for one. Secondly, the poor would be much better off, along with the middle class. The rich would be slightly less rich, and the majority of people would benefit. Government would be more transparent, and people would enjoy more civil liberties.

We'd become weaker. However when we are run my flag waving conservatives like we are now, we are violent and everyone hates us. What we need is a strong moderate. I think John McCain would be an amazing president with Joe Lieberman as his VP.

Well lets go on the past "tree hugger" that was president. We would have a huge surplus, like we DID have, not the gigantic deficit that we now have. Also we would have about three thousand more troops that were alive instead of dead.

Seems to me we have a liberal in there now. Wants amnesty for illegals, won't finish this war because of public opinion polls.
All I can say, is my pocket book is much fatter when a Democrat is in office.
