My friend has this really gross hemmoroid (sp?). She says it hangs down like a punching bag and the doctor said all she can do is get surgery. I said I'd ask you guys! She said not to, but I'm doing it anyways! Haha. SO any advice on getting rid of the sucker???

Go to a specialist. Lasers, surgery and actually using a 'rubber band' which cuts off ciruclation to the hemm. are all options. Have her talk to a doctor that specializes in this. It is a simple outpatient procedure in most cases.

If preparation H doesn't help it shrink, then surgery is the alternative.

Try another doctor or even ask a pharmacist.
