My period is not yet due for another week, but I recent put on loads of weight, I haven't been eating more than I usually do. I feel really ill most mornings, which I am not sure whether it could be hunger as I don't do breakfast. I don't yet want to take a test, I think I'm just afraid of it saying I am pregnant. I am in a serious relationship and have gone completely off sex. Hope someone can help me

I also get very sharp pains that I can't really explain. I have regular periods every month, suppose I will just have to wait for this one, roll on next Friday!!!
Thanks for any advice people give me

it would be to early to have ANY symptoms. the only thing a person would feel at 3 weeks is something similar to premenstral cramps.

Eating more does not necessarily mean that you are pregnant. We all go through times when we eat more or less. You should look up other symptoms of being pregnant before you start worrying. First one is missing your period. Since you are not due for it yet, you should wait until you miss it to take a test. Other signs are breasts being tender and sore to the touch, lots of headaches and back aches, going to the bathroom a lot, being tired a lot, and there are several more. If you have further questions just search the web. There are several good websites that tell you the signs.

If you are not late it is unlikely that you would experience any symptoms of pregnancy. However, from past experience, I know that you kind of have an instinct about these things. You would probably not feel ill or go off food or in fact notice any changes until you have missed a period. - even then this might not be significant. Wait until your due date. Pregnancy hormones can be detected as early as one day late but remember it is possible to have a period and be pregnant - I have a friend who did, every month, although not as significantly heavy as usual.

dont do a test yet because it might be to early to show up yet , ive had two children and in the past ive had the same thing when i have been trying for a baby and i thought i was pregnant and had the same feeling and i ended up not being pregnant so you will just have to try and wait a bit , try not to stress out too much ,i know its hard but even if you are pregnant its not the end of the world you will get through it best of luck.

when i was pregnant, i knew before my period as I was really really really tired. I used to come home from work and fall asleep till the next day!! You could be worrying about it and this is whats making you sick. Best advice I can give you, either go to the doctors or buy a test!! Best to find out so you can decide which way you want to go with it. Good luck - if you can, let us know!!xx

You are worried for nothing girl. Everyone loves a baby. Including the father. The first thing people do when they find out they are pregnant is to panic. but once it is obvious that nothing can be done, everyone pools resources to make sure mother and baby will have an easy ride. Don't worry. others will be of great help to you.

If your period is not even due yet, I wouldn't worry. You wouldn't put that kind of weight on this early if you were pregnant anyway.

Sounds like stress.. but to be sure... takes the pregnancy test... not taking it will not chance the results but taking it might make you feel better! If you are... then you are pregnant and not stressed, if you are not, start destressing. See your doctor to double check for either result.

I would wait for your menstraul cycle, before I start assuming anything, and if it hasnt came on I would suggest you to take a pregnancy and visit a doctor to be sure if your pregnant or not

Hi,
Your breasts hurts if you are pregnant. Morning sickness is other sign.. don't feel like eating anything..
If you are eating too much its not related to pregnancy in this early stage..
