Bring a your Maid of Honor or mom (or future mother-in-law) and a camera so that you can take pictures of the dresses you like. That way you can compare them later, and also get another perspective on how you look.

Congrats!!

PS Bring shoes too, if you already have them for some reason! And wear a shirt that's easy to take off (like a button-up one) so you can try on dresses without too much of a problem : )

You might want to bring along a close friend or two, to get opinions on how the dress looks (although in the end it's how you feel about it that matters). Maybe you can bring a camera to get a few pictures of the different dresses, if the store allows it.

You should probably wear the same undergarments you plan on wearing during the ceremony, while trying on the dresses. Sometimes that can affect the fit and the way a dress a looks.

It couldn't hurt also, to have an idea of the different aspects of your ceremony- color choices, indoor/outdoor location, will you be doing a lot of dancing?, etc. All of that information will help in finding the right dress for you. :)

You should bring the shoes you're going to wear with the wedding dress. If you don't have them yet, bring similar height shoes. You should also bring a digital camera but ask the store manager if it's ok to take pictures before using it. When you look at a bunch of dresses, sometimes it's hard to remember what store had what dress.

I bought the first one I tried on.

Good support bra that will possibly go with the style of dress you are looking for and shoes of the height you want to wear at the wedding. OH, maybe your Mom if she is available.

Wear Nude colored panties and if you have a good strapless bra in nude also bring that. And only bring like 2 people. the more people the more opinions you have and then sometimes it can cloud your opinion of what dress you actually like.

You don't really have to bring anything, especially if you're going to have it custom fitted, but you can bring the following items (and should bring them to the fitting if you're taking that route):
-the shoes you'll be wearing
-the undergarments you'll be wearing (i.e. specialty bra, etc.)
-jewelry is optional, but you need to make sure it hangs right with the dress
Good luck, and congrats!

The undergarments that you will wear underneath. You will probably have it tailored but you need to have an idea of how it will feel, fit and changes that you may want to make.

The shoes you are wearing if you have them, and a few friends to help you, it is easy to get caught up in the moment and not be honest with yourself.

What you plan to wear underneath that day. Otherwise they should be able to help with a slip, etc.
