its a hard question to answer my friend, just like any other crime involving murder especially of a child.
you really have to trust the people of the jury and then the judges to come up with the right verdict based on all the evidence and if after that he is found guilty the judge will have to take all considerations before passing the most appropriate sentence,,we have to trust the justice system even although we all know it is far from perfect,,its the best we have got,
some people think a quick death is to kind for some of these murderers,,and hard lab our for the rest of their life would be more appropiate,
me personnaly believe in an eye for an eye

If beyond the shadow of doubt, and full and honest information is used to convict him, then death is both appropriate and needed. Tolerating murder by a slap on the wrist is hardly justified...a person died because of him...then he should also die...no bleeding heart liberal here. Life sentence is usually shortened to about 15 years....a joke and a blasphemy...how is that fair to the person or the family. The judicial system in America is becoming like the government of India...indecisive...and perferring to waffle on major issues. We still don't have the abortion thing straight, and this drags on for years at great expense...a Supreme Court ruling takes 5 to 7 years....where is justice? Are we supposed to wait forever? Yes, mistakes are made, but the fear of execution might be needed to stop the senseless slaughter. In China, they execute people...and the crime rate is pretty low for felonies because if you get caught, you will pay the price...no stays, no pleas, you pay.

I personally think anyone that harms a child should have the same things done to them. But if he gets life I would have to pay for it, so I say the death penalty. If the ex wife was involved she should be punished to. May God have mercy on their souls.

Not really politics, but here goes.

Worst punishment I can think of:

He/she/they should be made to ride the Disney, "It's a Small World" ride for 18 hours a day for the next 20 years. The ACLU would go banana split, with a cherry on top, over it.

He done confessed to it.So death it is.I would reccomend a slow, very painful death, as that family has been in pain for over 10 years now.But guess we just have to settle for the regular death penatly, after 15 years of appeals.

I am waiting for DNA results, there is something that just doesn't sit right you know?
But if he is the one that did that to her heck yea fry him !!
All sickos like that should be in prison for life, NO possibility of parole...and if they kill the child then automatic death sentence. SS if that sounds harsh, just the way I feel.
But I am waiting for the test results, cause something seriously isn't adding up with this case.

if he's really jon benet's killer, he deserves the death penalty, imo. he's a sicko who killed an adorable little girl. if other murderer's get the death penalty, why shouldn't he? just because it's been a long time and it took a long time to catch him? i don't think so!

He is a desperate, poor excuse for a human being, but he didn't commit the crime. He is trying to get extradited back here from Thailand (where he is in jail, for pedophilia). Better to go through the U.S. media grinder than the Thai judicial system.
