That's not funny at all. Syphilis was a very serious disease in the last centuries before the invention of antibiotics.
But syphilis is nowadays easy curable. Just take him to a clinics nearby, they will give him a good dose of antibiotics and he will be very soon again by your side.

What a shame to die of syphilis in this day and age when the disease is so highly treatable. If he is near death there is nothing you can do except be a friend. Hang in there with him. Help him set his life in order. Including making reservations for heaven! Has he accepted Christ as his personal savior? Have you? Read John 3:16 and Roman 10:9-11. If he decides for Christ, or if he is already a Christian, then read John 14. It is full of comfort.

I assume that your friend has seen a doctor and your friend is beyond the point of successful treatment. If your friend hasn't seen a doctor, take them to a free clinic for God's sake! And bring them to Jesus before it's too late.
Then, help your friend put their affairs in order, achieve/do anything they want to do, and say goodbye.
