I use to not think of this intill my brother died in a car crash. Now it is all i think about. Some say that once the brain dies the consious state seperates and awareness goes leaving nothing but just energy. Some believe the heaven thing. Do you think we still know who we are? Do you think we may refilter through to create another life(rencarnation)?

The Next Place
By Warren Hanson
The next place that I go
Will be as peaceful and familiar
As a sleepy summer Sunday
And a sweet, untroubled mind.
And yet . . .
It won't be anything like any place I've ever been. . .
Or seen. . . or even dreamed of
In the place I leave behind.
I won't know where I'm going,
And I won't know where I've been
As I tumble through the always
And look back toward the when.
I'll glide beyond the rainbows.
I'll drift above the sky.
I'll fly into the wonder, without ever wondering why.
I won't remember getting there.
Somehow I'll just arrive.
But I'll know that I belong there
And will feel much more alive
Than I have ever felt before.
I will be absolutely free of the things that I held onto
That were holding onto me.
The next place that I go
Will be so quiet and so still
That the whispered song of sweet belonging will rise up to fill
The listening sky with joyful silence,
And with unheard harmonies
Of music made by no one playing,
Like a hush upon breeze.
There will be no room for darkness in that place of living light,
Where an ever-dawning morning pushes back the dying night.
The very air will fill with brilliance, as the brightly shining sun
And the moon and half a million stars are married into one.
The next place that I go
Won't really be a place all.
There won't be any seasons --
Winter, summer, spring or fall --
Nor a Monday,
Nor a Friday,
Nor December,
Nor July.
And the seconds will be standing still. . .
While hours hurry by.
I will not be a boy or girl,
A woman or man.
I'll simply be just, simply, me.
No worse or better than.
My skin will not be dark or light.
I won't be fat or tall.
The body I once lived in
Won't be part of me
At all.
I will finally be perfect.
I will be without a flaw.
I will never make one more mistake,
Or break the smallest law.
And the me that was impatient,
Or was angry, or unkind,
Will simply be a memory.
The me I left behind.
I will travel empty-handed.
There is not a single thing
I have collected in my life
That I would ever want to bring
Except. . .
The love of those who loved me,
And the warmth of those who cared.
The happiness and memories
And magic that we shared.
Though I will know the joy of solitude. . .
I'll never be alone. I'll be embraced
By all the family and friends
I've ever known.
Although I might not see their faces,
All our hearts will beat as one,
And the circle of our spirits
Will shine brighter than the sun.
I will cherish all the friendship I was fortunate to find,
All love and all the laughter in the place I leave behind.
All these good things will go with me.
They will make my spirit glow.
And that light will shine forever In the next place that I go.

There's no logical reason to think anything happens except the body rots and dries up into dust. Perhaps in the last few seconds under great stress the brain may produce flashbacks, like dreams, but these would just be our own projections of what happens after death.

none of us know the truth..coz none of us are dead...
all we can do is make assumptions n try to think either outta the box( coz sometimes facts are stranger than fiction) or think pretty rationally..that there is nothing called reincarnation or something...
but there have been instances where ppl see strange visions which they are absolutely unaware of..n then they realise they are seein that they had experienced in their last birth...
this again leaves us wondering if its actually possible or its just a public stunt to get everyone's attention in a snap of time..
i think..after death...what remains is our deeds that we did throughout our lives...it always stays on with our names..no matter that u r a part of the soil now.

I did not think of death the way I think of it now till my father died three years ago. Its wierd I have dreams going way back now before my parents got divorced and its all about his prescence his "soul" if you will. All that petty stuff we had hard feelings about doesn't matter now because I was his only son and I know he loved me.
My advise is to live it up now, maybe we will find out where we were before we were ever born! Personally I don't want to know
, I beleive the soul was put in this body and we will find out what that means when we die.

The electrical charges that fire between our neurons/dendrites/synops have no living path to follow, therefore they discharge into the atmosphere. In some cases they may enter the nearest living fetus, thus reincarnation. In other instances they remain as part of the electromagnic field in our atmosphere.

I believe in heaven and hell--based on your life if you were good you go to heaven, if you were bad you go to hell. I'm afraid I'll be going to hell--but at least I will know a lot of people there...ha!

I kind of believe in heaven and also reincarnation. If our life's task was not completed we are reincarnated and our memories of a past lives are wiped clean

Well, it's just this simple. If you accept Jesus into your heart during your life, you will spend eternity in Heaven with God. If you don't then you will spend eternity in hell. I pray that you make the right choice.

We will be judged. Those who accepted Jesus and made them their savior will be in heaven. Those who do not will be in Hell.
Their is life after death. You however, do not reincarnate. You spend the rest of your time in heaven or hell.

accepting Jesus now at this time is the most important decision in your entire life,..it's an eternal option if you want to be with God's presence(which is eternal paradise also known as heaven), or sepperation from God's presence due to rejecting him/not caring in this life to accept him through his son Christ Jesus(which would be eternal punishment in the lake of fire, also known as hell).I hope you ask God throgh Jesus Christ to guide your paths.God Bless & hope to see you in heaven!
