my ex-best friend (we went from sisters when we were young to not speaking at all), she found out that i'm trying to get pregnant, and two days later she *announces* shes trying. wtf? is she jealous of me or what?

also i might add that shes younger than i am, shes 18. and i'm married and my husband and i have both have secure jobs.

It really sounds like that she is jealous. She sees you as someone that's great and perfect (but no one's perfect) and she wants to be just like you. I don't really think that she's going to try and get pregnant, unless she is really, really jealous. Pregnancy is something very serious and it takes a long time to think about if you are ready to have a child, not only if you have stable jobs, but if you are emotionally ready. There is a really high chance that she did not really think hard about how serious pregnancy is because it certainly takes more than 2 days to make a proper decision, especially about something like that! Just ignore her, she's going to have a difficult time because she never thought of the responsibilities of having a child.

omg...........................it's the attack of Single White Female. Just tell her that you aren't trying anymore, u and hubby both thought and talked abt it and it's not the right time you decided. In the meanwhile she will prolly do the same thing, so she won't be trying and you still will be. If u get preggers in the meantime, try not to say anything for the first trimester!

Oh yea. She's TOTALLY jealous. It's a competition to her now.
That sucks. What a loser. Just ignore her and carry on with your life.
