What do you think is the answer to terrorism?

I know this is a lengthy conversation, but briefly, what do you think we can do to combat terrorism?

Listen to their demands. Many of them are based in fact. We should start observing the UN and international law, stop meddling in Muslim affairs, stop giving money to rogue states that commit war crimes and breach international law (ie, Israel) and send more funds to Muslim states for social programs such as schools. Terrorists are bred because of grave injustice, and we are committing that grave injustice, as well as Israel. If we don't hurt them, they won't hurt us. However, we are destroying Muslim countries for no reason, and they hate us for it. We alone supported Israel when it bombed Lebanon. Only the US -- NO OTHER COUNTRY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD supported Israel. Yet we did. We must rectify that problem.

Educate the lower educated religious majorities. They are seduced into becoming marters for God by higher educated hate preachers and back by mighty men such as Osama Bin Laden. I saw a report on this matter once where they interviewed the main Immam in Brussels about this matter. He explained how in the last year he was approached by several youths wishing to go fight in Iaq or get in to contact with Al Quaeda. After talking to the youths it became apparent that they had no Idea what was going on there or to what dangers they faced or even what the real standpoint of the Koran was, they were just romanticised by an image. That's what happens to most of these people they get brainwashed by a hypochrite few(if they were really so righteous they would be the first to go!!!) If the main majority of ALL 3 major religions were made to understand that the God that created us all as children would not be happy seeing his children fight!!!

million dollar question.
3 main approaches;
1- Placate them. Give in to their demands and try to make them happy. (maybe we could try that with criminals in the US too.)
2 - Ignore them. Just let what happens happen, and respond as necessary.
3 - Fight them. How do you fight an enemy with no army, who blends in with the population and strikes at innocent civilians? Intelligence gathering, seizing financial assets, kill them, isolate nations that will not support efforts to do the above.

I can't think of another approach, fighting them is the only option. We have ignored & placated for a long time & how did that work out? This will be an ugly fight, with no clear end in sight, but if we let the wound of radical Islam to fester untreated, we will have to deal with it in a much more serious form.

Teaching the kids that terrorism is not the answer, instead of teaching them to hate, and believe that people of different faiths are Satan's, Infidels, the Devil, etc.

Failing that an A-BOMB.
Take away the bomb pitted, bullet holed piece of crap they call "holy-land", because to be Honest, neither side are treating it with any real respect...

Take extreme draconian measures against anyone detected, understand that we may have to give up some of our basic human rights to achieve our aims, and be selective in operations against those who are most likely to be terrorists eg Islamists, Pakistanis, and young Brits of Pakistani origin.

We instigate them by having freedom.
Bin Laden is a millionaire, many others are rich from the oilfields
Many of them are well educated

The problem is they hate us and hate our way of life and want to put the whole world under Muslim rule. Then we would all be killed unless we convert, or live as slaves. There is no freedom of speach under Sharia law.
We need to give them the opposite of what they want.

One easy step towards ending Muslim terrorism is to have pig mascots on every plane, and to soak all out bullets in bacon grease (many Muslims believe that pork will keep them out of paradise)
