I am 18 yr old male. I like shaving my public hair at the bottom of my penis shaft and balls. Is it weird? I like smooth balls for myself. Do girls also like that.

Girls definitely like this. I have a few years of experience to prove that. And if you like a smooth c ock and balls, then it is definitly worth shaving even if you do it just for yourself.
Keep shaving, the effort is definitely worth it.
I also keep my armpits, check, back of neck, and shoulders well shaven. Shaved legs on a guy look good, too, if your legs are muscular and buff. Shaved chicken legs just look like....well... chicken legs.. hehe

Shave if you want. Gay men have been shaving for the past 20 years, and now straight men have realized this is more comfortable, looks better, and is more like to get you oral sex from your partner!
The other side effect - shaving the shaft and around the base will give the impression of more length (if you happen to want that).

well I think you meant to say pubic,... that is without the L in it.
Anyway, of course we like it without the hair, its gross to get a hair caught in our teeth, when we pleasure a guy.
I shave my pubes every day, I like being smooth and sensual. When I get to have my man or girl, its so much more fun because fur just gets in the way.

it's pubic hair.If you're African-American be prepared for razor bumps. To relieve that make sure you pre-moisten the area and use jojoba oil when shaving before and as an aftershave, even if you're using clippers.
Also talcum, baby powder will help with the razor bumps.

I guess if it is ok for women to shave down there, then it is ok for men also. I would like my man to shave. It wouldn't be bad for me.
