I am a computer idiot I guess. On a CD, if it says CD-RW, is that just saying that it is a Rewritable Disk? Is there such a thing as a CD+RW disk? If so, is there a difference? Also, if anyone knows about a DVD Multi player;compact disk ReWritable Ultra speed + Disk Drive, could you tell me if it is possible to burn disks on it? I don't think it is but our tech guy says it should. Is he right?

From your description it is a combo drive that will play multiple types of DVDs, but not burn DVDs. It will however burn CDR and CDRW discs. DVD+ and DVD- are different formats..

There are no CD+ and CD- s.. they are the same except for people's preferece in saying + or - on them.

There is no cd+rw. As far as DVD burners. New models these days can burn all: cd-r, cd-rw, dvd-r, dvd+r. Some new dvd burners can even burn dual layer dvd's. Hope this clears it up
