My friend Grant is a christian fundamentalist and the other night we were living Friday's and our friend Jonah jokes in the car about the fact that Grant was hanging out with Heather(Jonah suggests they're we're doing it *laughs*). So I say "I don't believe it I bet he doesn't even know how to put a condom on"
And there is silence... And I go! Oh my god you don't know! (mind you this is a 21 year old man) So while I go innocently trying to explain to him he gets really pissed(i know that because he used the "F" word and he never uses it)
So I am like... WTF! MATE! What really pisses me off is that just before that I was telling him about my family history which was to me just as personal as stupid condoms and when im talking about that stupid condoms he gets all pissy and mad at me....
Anyway! any thoughts?

Yes, I agree you are a thoughtless tactless nitwit. Apologize if you value the friendship and be glad you have a friend with who is well bred and well mannered and can teach you something of value.

some people find that to be very personal and are not comfortable talking about that even with their friends. im sure if he ever wants to learn that he can figure it out for himself.
and also the fact that you made such a big deal about it probably embarrassed him even more.

Your friend needs to lighten up, and not take himself so serious. he must have hidden issues about this or he would not have reacted so badly. It's not your fault he is so over sensitive about this matter.

I don't see why you think it's such a big deal about him not knowing how to put a condem on.one day he will get married and he can look in to his wife's eyes and say i love you and i've waited for you.i think that is wonderful

i don't think his religion is allowed to use birth control, because the bible says be fruitful and multiply. that may be what pissed him off, you should probably talk to him.
