I have created a connection to an access db, and I can see all the tables in server explorer. Now to add it to the form my book says I should drag the db connection onto the form, but it doesnt seem dragable! where am I screwing up.

Yes am in design view, but when i drag the connection it doesnt go with me.

Whats a table connector?

It's asking you to create your db connection in the design view.

You can have access to the server connections you created by going to View: Server Explorer

The connection, if created in here can be dragged onto a form page, a .aspx page, that is open in design view (the gui view, not the html view, not the code behind view)

You have to create a table connector normaly before you can drag them to the form
