I think Portugal deserved to win because thet played much better than France.
Zidane was a ghost on the field, Cristiano Ronaldo a very good performance.
France has won thanks to an unbelievable penalty (too many penalties given to france for free!!!!!) . So I think they cheated and portugall deserved to go forward.

It's Zidane you are talking about. If Zidane and along with the French team could beat Brazil, then, they deserve the spot. Stupid Brazil!!! errr!!! They didn't even play during their games.... what ashame... But I hope Brazil will have a better comeback four years later. B/c they are still one of the best team in the world. Oh yeah, by the way, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM WITH FRANCE?! Why do you keep on provoking France when the french national didn't do anything to you? It's just matter of opinions. And plus, Portugal's not that good, esp. Ronaldo was constantly diving...how can you possibily say that he did a good performance. He was the KING OF DIVING!!! Portugal got their *** kicked when playing against Germany. They even scored their own goal...it's hilarious. I'm not saying Portugal's bad, they have lots of talents growing within this small country. But if you are going to argue that France cheated against Portugal, you are definitely blind. Portugal should play against Italy, and see how dirty tactic group vs. dirty tactic group.... it could'd been an awesome game, and FIFA would probably give Italy and Portugal for the most entertaining award for their hostle and barbaric-like tactic performance.

I do! I have said the following to touzours and I will say it to you as well:
The penalty kick for France still haunts me. It was very wimpy. A more serious one for Portugal against France was totally ignored by the referee. It was an unreal (as well as an unfair) bad decision!
I BELIEVE THAT PORTUGAL DESERVED TO WIN, NOT FRANCE!

oh sure, zidane is a ghost and ronaldo is a supahstar, ha-ha-ha what a laugh!!! do you even know football?!!! but you're right about the penalty, it was unbelievable!!! the way zizou slotted the ball in, man, i thought that was the height of cool!! but i know why you're bustin' your a** about this. you're pissed 'cuz with the amount of diving ronaldo had to do, you'd think at least one would've produced a penalty for portugal, right? only, none of his stunts worked and your "very good performer" ronaldo looked all the more stupid for it. but hey, don't worry, your team's got 4 years to perfect its diving routine so maybe next time they'll get it right, huh? lol

the penalty was an unfair penalty
but now i understood what football is
football is scoring
you score...you win
if you dont score and even if you are better ...you lose
portugal was better than france....they didnt score...and they lost

Portugal, even though I love the team, plays a little dirty to my taste hence the fouls called against them.

yup a non penalty is how they beat Portugal it's the only way they can apperantly win.

Unfortunately I did not watch the game, I was too nervous to watch it, but I could hear the noise and screams coming from my living room........Was a very sad day in my household when they lost............
