I will break it down for you so you will soon be copying, pasting, and cutting articles like a pro.
To copy an article: Open up the document you want, highlight the portion you want to copy by dragging your mouse along the document to highlight it while holding down the left button on the mouse, you will know it is highlighted because it will appear to dark gray, then either click the right button on your mouse to diplaya drop down menu or click edit in your menu bar, that will allow you to choose what you want to do with the highlighted portion of the document or article, choose cut if you need to delete that portion of the document or, choose copy if you want to paste that article to another document.

Remember: To cut: highlight the portion of the document to cut and then click the menu bar and choose cut while the document is still highlighted and it will delete that portion immediatly.
To copy: highlight the portion to be copied, click the menu bar and select copy while the document is still highlighed, go to the document that you want to paste the copied portion of the document and click paste it will automatically paste it there for you then your done.
To Paste: Just go to where you want to paste and be sure to click the mouse where you want it pasted at it will automatically be added to your document.
Try it and be sure you understand on a blank document.
One more thing you can insert pictures using these same methods, find a picture or image you want, right click your mouse and click copy, go to the document where you want it and click paste it will automatically insert a picture for you.
Hope that helped and good luck!!!!

If you open up a webpage and have an article, you can click and hold the left mouse button at the top of the article and drag down to the bottom. Then, click (on the keyboard) Ctrl C (at the same time). this will copy the text. Then, wherever you want to paste it, put your mouse there and press Ctrl P (at the same time). This will copy all of the formatting and the text. If you only want to copy the text then, put your mouse in place (just like before) and go up to the menu bar and click Edit Paste Special... you'll have a list of choices. Select unformatted text.

It's very simple... Most programs provide what is known to programmers and users as Standard buttons/toolbars. These menu toolbars often consist of File, Edit, View, etc...

Under the Edit menu are editor tools like Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, etc...

When you have the program opened (ie Windows Explorer), just simply highlight the object (text, picture, file, etc...) and

1. Click Edit --> Cut
2. Then paste to your desired location

Also, you can use keyboard shortcuts almost any program on Windows, the shortcuts are:

Cut = CTRL + X
Copy = CTRL + C
Paste = CTRL + V
Select All = CTRL + A

Yeah just highlight what you want to copy by holding your mouse down and dragging it across the words and then right click and choose copy then open what you want to paste it on and move the cursor there and right click again and say paste, or if it's something you've written in a document or something like that you can highlight what you want to cut and then right click and choose cut. Good Luck!!

Highlight the article by holding down the left mouse button and dragging your pointer over the article. Hit control and C at the same time, and then control and V to paste.

Very very easy. Just hold your left mouse button down and highlight whatever it is you are wanting to cut or copy, right click and you will see "cut," "copy" and other options. Click that. Then you go over to Word or whatever it is you want to paste it to, right click again and look for "paste."

You don't need to cut, only copy and paste... Highlight the article and right click then pick on copy, then go to the place where you want to put the article, go there left click, right click and click on paste...
BTW the word is PLEASE.... no PLEEZE... please don't destroy the language.
Peace out... that is what happen when you party in the school instead of learning... if you have more questions you can ask my niece who is 4 years old she can explain anything about computers.

the following book will show you how to that and many many more things your friends won't be able to do unless they rewad it too.

★★ LEARN COMPUTER BASICS ★★

◙ You should have read a great book called "Windows XP For Dummies" (no I'm not calling you a dummy) like I did when I first started. Except back then it was called "Windows 95 For Dummies". Trust me it's a great book and has lots of humor in it as well. There are two of them. You should get both of them. Each one has information the other doesn't have.

◙ Wouldn't it be a great feeling knowing that you will be able to do many things your friends cannot do? A little work now will save you tens of thousands of hours of doing unnecessary and repetitive tasks later. When most newcomers get on the World Wide Web they are in a really big hurry. Then they end up in chat rooms and forums wanting people like myself to explain it step-by-step. Read this book first. Then come back if you are still having a problem.

◙ Don't read this book from cover-to-cover. Instead use it as a reference book. Keep it open while experimenting with your computer. Click on every thing you see with both your right and left mouse button. Also experiment with the center mouse wheel. There are many things it can do.

◙ This book will teach you how to do many many things with your computer. Some of them are copy, paste, delete, highlighting text, making a file, saving a file, how to change things in your computer, how to install software and the list goes on and on. Getting on the web before you learn the basics of your computer is like trying to be a race car driver before you learn how to drive.

◙ Look for this book at your local public library. If they don't have it have them use their username and password to login to firstsearch.org where they can get any book from any library in the world. Only libraries can get an account at Firstsearch.org. So you need to go to the library to search it. When you find what you want have the librarian order it for you. Read it and then return it to them. :)

◙ Smart Computing Magazine -- This is the number one magazine for Windows tips. They'll show you how to clean your registry, spyware, adware, and a zillion other tricks. There are quite literally hundreds of tips per issue. They even have an online database of tips, forums and chats. Their online version of the magazine is a lot cheaper.

◙ Microsoft Product Support -- Get updates to software, tips, tricks and a multitude of other things here.

◙ Microsoft Product Discussion Groups -- You'll need to signup for an MSN Passport Account to use these groups. But it's really worth your time. You'll receive better help here than anywhere else. If you want help with a product you didn't pay for don't mention you didn't pay for it. :)

To cut, click and hold right mouse button & drag it from beginning to end of what you want to cut. Then click left mouse button for menu and select "cut" and the text will be removed. If you want to copy and paste, here's what to do- click and hold right mouse button and drag it from beginning to end of what you want to copy, then left click mouse button for menu and select "copy". To paste go to space you want to insert text and right click mouse button, then left click mouse button for menu and select "paste". Text should then appear where you want it. Hope this helps.
