Is it a sharp, occasional pain? It's possible you're ovulating. I get a pain on my lower left side (like near my hip bone) about a week before i start my period--it's ovulation.

If it is on the side towards the back it could be your kidneys. If the pain continues...go to the doctors, it could be a stone.

i assume its from working out and if it is then the pain is from the wrokout which usually signifies that the exercise yor doing is working that area of your body. keep going at it it will eventually stop. i get a pain like that from running and as you get into ti more and more it doesnt hurt as much as you get more fit
