Written by British artist Mike Oldfield, numerous cover versions of "Moonlight Shadow" have been performed over the years, including by The Shadows on their 1986 album Moonlight Shadow. In 2002 a dance version by Groove Coverage reached the German Top 10, while Japanese artist KOKIA included a cover version on her 7th single, Ningen-tte Sonna Mono ne.
Missing Heart remixed the song and placed more emphasis on the vocals of the song, and it has also recently been covered by DJ Mystik. Other songs covered by Mystik include "Save Tonight", "Unchained Melody" and "Time To Say Goodbye".

EDIT: My favourite cover of this song is by Belinda Carlisle. I don't think she's the one you're looking for, but if you like the song you'll probably like her version.
