i'm guessing you overworked your muscles either exercising or engaging in an activity like gardening that you haven't done in a long time. take a hot bath with epsom salts, use some icy hot and drink lots of water to hydrate your muscles.

If your muscle hurt, most likely you did a good job working out. If they hurt for more than a week with rest, you probably hurt yourself. If you are really in pain. REST! You can build muscle or tone for a body part only working it once a week. So take it easy.

As for supplements, I would take L-Glutamine and Creatine. To help in muscle repair. 10g-15g a day should be good.

More important, remember to stretch before and AFTER your workouts. No one everyone stretches after their workouts.

If you are in pain now, I think you should stretch and get some rest. Drink lots of water and rub on the BENGAY. Maybe work a different body part.

See a doctor NOW. That could be a sign of something serious.

One common cause of muscle aches and pain is fibromyalgia, a condition that includes tenderness in your muscles and surrounding soft tissue, sleep difficulties, fatigue, and headaches.
